BIFI 2017: VIII Congreso 31 Enero, 1-2 Febrero 2017

El formato del congreso está pensado por un lado para dar a los miembros del BIFI, de Zaragoza y externos, la oportunidad de dar a conocer su trabajo y fortalecer colaboraciones, y por otro lado, invitar a investigadores destacados a conocernos y establecer colaboraciones con nosotros, si así lo desean.

Dada la multiplicidad de las líneas de investigación del Instituto, y el deseo de proporcionar un escaparate para todas ellas, el formato del programa incluye sesiones plenarias y charlas de investigadores invitados, presentaciones de nuevas líneas de investigación del BIFI. El programa también incluye dos tutoriales programados para la tarde del día dos de Febrero. El primero de ellos es una introducción a la fabricación 3D (diferentes técnicas: impresión 3D, uso de CNC, corte láser). El segundo taller versará sobre el uso del servicio cloud, y estará impartido por Rubén Vallés, del BIFI.

Así este año se ha organizado el tutorial para estudiantes en cuyo programa se engloban aspectos docentes y prácticos para ayudar a los alumnos a comenzar una carrera científica con interesantes herramientas. Por todo ello, además de a los miembros del BIFI, invitamos a participar a investigadores de cualquier otra institución y a los alumnos interesados.

El congreso no tiene tasa de inscripción.

El Comité Organizador[:en]he VIII National Congress of the Institute for Biocomputation and Physics of Complex Systems (BIFI) will take place at the Edificio I+D of the “Río Ebro” (Actur) Campus of the University of Zaragoza (Spain), 31 January, 1-2 February, 2017.

The aim of the Congress is to give all participants a chance to disseminate their work and strengthen existing collaborations or establish new ones, within the different research lines promoted by the BIFI Institute.

To this end, the format of the Congress will include plenary sessions, with invited and contributed talks, as well as short outlines of the progress in each research line of the Institute, providing the audience with an introduction on what will be discussed in the related workshops. The program also includes presentations and tutorials about the experimental and computational facilities of the institute.
Researchers from any Institution are warmly invited to attend the meeting, up to the capacity limits of the conference rooms (accordingly, if necessary, the organizers might reject applications to participate).

Language
Speakers and poster contributors are asked to prepare their presentations in English, while the talk can be given in English or Spanish.

Registration Fee
There is no registration fee.
